You are wrong about Vitya

A year ago (or maybe even a little earlier) I met one person. His name is Vitya. If you are from the Russian-speaking community, then most likely you immediately understood who I'm talking about. And, most likely, you already have not just a cool, but a frankly negative attitude towards him. I know this. And it pisses me off a lot.

You see, Vitya has a psychological trauma. He himself warns people about it, although he doesn't like to spread about it. It is precisely because of this trauma that many see in him only “a disgusting impulsive type” and put a cross on him. But you are mistaken. Deeply and very cruelly mistaken.

Especially the Russian-speaking part of the community. Yes, my English-speaking friends who also read this blog - I know that some of you also either hate Vitya or feel a steady aversion towards him. And all this is solely because of prejudices.

Vitya made several mistakes on the internet. Mistakes that you all unanimously declared fatal and unforgivable. Friends, are you serious? This is the internet, for fuck's sake. What the hell difference does it make?

At the same time he is an incredibly trusting person. He shares very personal, sensitive information with people - and then these same people use it to harass, mock and humiliate him. If you are one of those who did that - you are simply a finished idiot. You judge a person by the cover without even opening the book.

Many of those who now fiercely hate Vitya have never talked to him even once. Never. They just heard from “reliable sources” that “Vitya is scumbag”, “Vitya is shit”, that any of his ping in the Discord chat is already a crime, and any of his contribution to the NTM community is “nothing significant”.

So, to all of you who think this way: you are disgusting.

You can't tell a person “kill yourself”. You can't. Under no circumstances. It doesn't matter what you believe in, what sex, gender, orientation you are - none of this matters. Every human life is important. Every life has meaning.

Vitya made a huge contribution to the NTM community. A real, big contribution. And you all behave like a herd.

I have been communicating with this person long enough to know for sure: he is being unfairly harassed. And he is already on the brink when he is ready to commit suicide just to stop feeling this constant oppression that you give him every day.

You are not people.

You are MONSTERS.
